Stock Market is the bottom in?

Big war went on sale today. I'm bullish on this the way the administration is filling up with those that will shovel the loot to these guys.

I put a big sucker on a bait caster and flung it into the water.

I was reading that trump wants an iron dome type missile defense system around the US. Any idea who would benefit from that?

^^^

I bought 20 shares of Raytheon when the demonrats stole the 2020 election just so I could watch it. My shares are up about 72% since I bought them in November of 2020. They beat on their earnings report this morning and the stock is up again. RTX is into missile defense type stuff. They were likely heavily involved in the killing of Palestinians.

NVDA up 7% so far. Amazon all time highs again today. Crowdstrike all time highs again today. Cybersecurity stocks and ETFs are having a really good day.

My very simple understanding of AI is that

1. The hardware comes first (NVidia and other semis) and also has big energy requirements
2. Then comes the software that will run on the hardware (Palantir, etc)
3. And it will all need to be protected by cyber security

I've been putting money into a couple cyber security ETFs (WCBR and CIBR). When AI is running the planet I am assuming some type of security from hostile actors is gonna be essential.

Why is Sysco tanking?

What I understand they hit their numbers and had a positive guidance?

Have a look at VRT. They do a lot of liquid cooling systems for servers.

To me.....The stuff going on right now with our government and spending is epic. May be a major market reset as a result?.....the Great Reset underway as we watch?? Dunno. Long-run.....I'm gonna bet on America and our free-market system. Short run...who knows? Markets are fickle and changes are hard to grasp.

I need to make some adjustments with my holdings. I'm way overweight on a couple.

Looks like I waited too damn long to buy IBM. Going crazy now.

I don't think people understand how quickly the dollar is losing value. We lose sight of the primary uses of money for the majority of people:

Housing
Energy
Food
Transportation

We get fixated on home prices as a barometer for housing inflation, but it's maintenance, repairs, property taxes, and insurance that are getting insane, and will likely be the culprit that start to break even the royals that have 2% mortgages.

Prices of vehicles seem to have flatlined, if not even begun to fall. But try to have service work done. Any trip to the shop seems to be an automatic thousand bucks, and there's a very low chance your issue will be fixed.

I think you are right big picture. The issue that I have is what does it matter for the average guy? Not a damn thing we can do about it. I know some pretty wealthy people as I’m sure we all do. One thing I’ve seen with the ones I know…is they don’t worry about this kind of thing. They just keep doing their thing and collecting wealth. I’ve mentioned this before but I feel like it’s the motley fool mindset. Just guys saying how bad it is and how bad it’s going to be and yet there’s a lot of guys making F U money. I’d rather be the guy with his head in the sand making big bucks I suppose.

Talked to my township clerk where my hunting ground is in WI and she said they just reassesed this year and we should expect big property tax increases next year...not looking forward to it.

The average guy doesn't care, and if he did, he'd not have the first damn idea how to deal with it, because none of his training has developed his skills to address this. I don't let it dominate my life. Once you realize the government and the global fiat banking system is here to rob everyone blind and try to kill us on time, everything makes sense. Then you can get back to planning what you're gonna do this weekend, what you're gonna plant this spring, what you wanna build this summer.

Just keep one eye on those murderous pedophile thieves and then have the courage to live your life and be happy. Just don't get caught up in their traps.

Your about 99% right. (never gonna give you 100....grin). I just bought a new car.....trading in my Jeep. Worked a fair deal....then came warranty. Power train does not phase me. But these basturds gotta way of getting to you on electronic stuff these days. Bought a nice Hyundai Palisade Calligraphy. Over 100 computerized components on board. Even the third row seats fold via electronics / electric power. That dude goes out and they wont fix it.....only replace the SOB. The head unit goes out....likely 1000's in repairs. Anyway.....100,000 bumper to bumper is $3000. (I hate purchased warranties.....but I like peace of mind.....and not having to duke it out with a service manager in my old age....lol). I decided to take the freaking warranty.....and have no worries about fixing stuff when on the road anywhere I go.....likely for the rest of my driving days.

Likely a wasted expense.....until....... Dunno. Ten years or 100,000 miles for worry free maintenance seems fair. Also 3 years of free oil changes. Time will tell. Hope I live through the warranty period. Smile.

I would have thought AAL would be trading down, but it seems to be up.
