I just received my order from Stark Brothers.
I opened up the box and pulled the bag and only 1 root system felt moist. The rest feel dry as a bone.
1/2 of the mulched paper that It was shipped with was in the bottom of the box. In the past every part of the root system was covered and the plastic tight around it so that it wouldn’t come out.
I don’t want to plant these trees just to have them not come alive this spring. Am I overreacting here or does this look subpar.
I have them all covered now with other material and wet them down
