For those who use ground coverings that require staples, I will recommend these round top pins if you have many stones and rocks. We bought regular U shaped staples like this (http://www.forestry-suppliers.com/product_pages/Products.asp?mi=67411&itemnum=25019) and had a tough afternoon last fall laying out a 300 ft roll of lumite. I happened onto the round top pins (http://www.forestry-suppliers.com/product_pages/Products.asp?mi=85661&itemnum=25017) and got a box of those last month when these guys had free shipping. These pins made the roll we did last weekend go much smoother. Much easier to find 1 path that did not have a stone than 2 next to each other and easier to straighten it after it got bent. I'll use up the U shaped staples on some areas that are not quite a rocky.
