Smoke filled sky in upstate NY

My coworkers say it just smells more like burning plastic, they agreed this morning it had more of a chemical tint to it but maybe bleach wasn't accurate. Hard to describe but not a wood burning smell at all.

‘Chemical smell’ is the best description so far. Maybe with some mold sprinkled on top?

Someone I know also called it ‘5 day old A$$hole’……

Rather hazy with smoke filled skys down here in GA . Noticed it last night and it is worse today.
