Significant fruit in one year after topworking persimmon

I'm just amazed at how fast the persimmons I topworked in the spring of 2018 have made fruit. I had topworked them before but never seen anything like this. In the pics below I'm showing fruit from 2 different trees. I did about 8 trees and at least half of them have fruit this year, and all have put on great vegetative growth.

Is the graft site visible in that second picture?

Yes, you can see it toward the bottom of the picture.

Yes, because I did some 3 years ago, and they haven't made fruit yet. The ones 3 years ago were scions from a wild persimmon, and these are a named variety. That could have made a difference.

I can't until mine start to produce. I'm on the northern edge but I know from a couple 60+ year old trees on our farm that they will be a great draw if they hang into December.
