Rut Rage Pear Tree

5 year old buck +
I'd have to say my 2023 planted Rut Rage Pears from Whitetail Crabs have been my fastest growing pear trees by far.
This tree here has somewhere between 75 and 100 pears !. I tried to get an exact number but it was hard to count the higher up pears. My two Rut rages are in the yard , I plan to add at least one more to my Hunting Plot. I will keep an eye out to see when they drop this year. 100_2100.JPG100_2099.JPG100_2101.JPG

That's impressive fruiting. Any concerns that so much fruiting will retard tree growth if nascent pears aren't thinned early? I'm still very new to the pear game.

That is impressive!

I'm far from a expert , but this tree has exceptional growth so I'm not going to worry about it. Now if the limbs get severly bent over in the summer I may try to pick some pears off, but I really don't want to get up there on a ladder...because The tree is taller than it looks . Something ate all my pears this week 300 yards away in my hunting plot. It's just a matter of time before they find this tree, so odds are they will thin it out for me. I'm putting traps out and some cameras maybe this weekend.

After seeing your pictures I ordered 2. They only have the 3'-4' left in stock. I'm impressed with those trees. See how they do here in Minnesota.

how big to the pears get that is? I have a become a treeaholic. I think I have near 40 fruit trees. Most for human consumption, Just starting to produce now. Some are probably still 5-8 years from producing.

My Rut Rage was the biggest tree I've ever received from either Whitetail Crabs or Blue Hill. Thing must have been nearly an inch in diameter and 7' tall. It's probably close to 9-10 ft now after two year (my clay soils arent super conducive to fast growth). Flowers got frosted last year but I'm hoping this year will be it's first crop. Have some scion from it that I'm going to attempt to graft to hawthorn this weekend.
