B Ben.MN/WI 5 year old buck + Yesterday at 5:41 PM #2 Clear out the brush around it so it sticks out like a sore thumb. A buck should tear it up then. That is if you are ok with the tree dying since the pines here are rubbed so hard they don’t survive. It will be a great spot for a camera though

That tree is between 2 other white pines I planted 18 years ago,they haven’t been rubbed and are 12-15” diameter,rubbing definitely slows down growth and they never really recover and if the do heal a good wind gust will take down.
