Rootstocks from cuttings

Mahindra3016

5 year old buck +
I dug up the rootstocks that i grew from cuttings from last years rootstocks these are m111, after cutting to graft i simply stick the cuttings in a jar with water in the bottom, when I'm done grafting i dip the cut ends in rooting hormone and stick in a raised bed, i get about half that grow.

Nice looking result. 50% success is worth doing.

I’m going to have to try that with a feral pear I found a couple years ago. I tried babying cuttings in vermiculite, but didn’t get any takers.
