Remember when your fish finder was called Grampa?

Caught a few northerns, a few bass, some crappies and some sunfish. One 10.5 inch pumpkinseed.

I do remember when Grampa would put me on the fish! The gold old days! Sounds like a good time.

My grandpa loved to fish. I still remember the weekend when I was in 6th grade. We ran all over the Ohio river tributaries looking for crappies and caught one fish. We cast around some treetops back at the boat ramp and proceeded to catch many dozen right before pulling the boat out of the water. That was my introduction to crappie fishing and haven't caught that many since.

Yep my grandpa used to take one of my brothers and I what seemed like once a week during the summer when we were too young to drive. Caught fish pretty much every time and made lots of good memories. Unfortunately my kids didnt get that same grandpa experience, hoping to revive the tradition if I get to be a grandpa someday.
