Hey habitat junkies. Hope all is well.

Got a bit of a off topic inquiry.

I am planning the next leg of my AT hike.

Planning on driving down to Robbinsville, North Carolia and parking the car. And am looking for a lift to Hiawasse Georgia. To get back to where we left off. Then we would make the the roughly 100 mile hike back to Robbinsville and head home.

There are shuttles that due pick up hikers. But I don't think one will travel that far.

This will be Sunday May 25th sometime in the am.

Open to any suggestions or offers.

Try any hiker forums? Might not be a rare stop for an uber driver. Not sure how far in advance you can get a driver. Everywhere in thr world has a taxi cab service, even remote areas.

I hunt in the bebee state forest in the NY/MA border, part of it is appalcian trail. We used to bring coolers of beer and party with the hikers at the big lean-to over on mount washington area not too far from beckett mass. Think they called it trail magic. A huge mountain top nearby that has plenty of small game and bears. Fun and not so fun seeing a bear across the field not bothering you, but you only got a 22 on ya.

Have not tried any hiker forums yet. Figured I'd trust a habitat guy before a complete stranger. Ha. Will look into it.

Have you looked at the uber price?
