A good 3 year old buck
I have persimmon trees on my property that about 5 years ago I picked & started a bunch of new trees to plant . I was surprised at my success as all the seeds sprouted into baby trees . I planted all of them in tree tubes and now some are 15’ tall . I’m waiting on some fruit bot none of them have produced any yet ? What should I do , is it a non-pollination problem? Am I being to impatient? Kinda at a lose .

Yes, you are being impatient.

As a general rule, persimmons from seed will not start producing that early. In my area it is approximately 10+ years. However, grafted persimmons will produce much earlier.

Another thing to remember is that some persimmons are males and will never produce fruit unless you graft female scionwood to them. Lot's of people just go ahead and graft known female scionwood to their seedlings rather than wait for them to reveal their sex. You could go either route.

Once they start flowering, it is easy to tell if they are male or female by observing the flowers.
