A good 3 year old buck
decided to start this camera up for the first time today. Arm light blinks for awhile then get Error code 4

Pull the batteries and then go to the test menu and run any of the tests until your capacitors discharge and the screen goes blank (hard reset). Test the batteries and reinsert and you will likely be good to go. Reset the time if necessary.
