Need help with identifying this flowering tree

This is in Northern Missouri.

I've never seen the fruit on these trees and don't remember them flowering so much.

Yes looks like plum to me also, on my place they produce small sour dime size plums.

I'll go with plum also. They flower really early. Usually before any other trees.It seems like a week or two and they are done flowering. The fruit only seems to last a week or two also. Everything eats the fruit deer, turkey, geese, raccoons. I have heavy trails going to my plums when they are ripe.
