5 year old buck +
Had a great opening morning for Wisconsin gun season. I had doe come through just after 8am. 20 minutes later this buck came down the same trail looking for love.
Nicest buck I've ever shot. It was my second buck in 13 days, so I was extremely happy!
He had come through in the pre-dawn hours the day before season and made a loop past 3 of our stands. So, I got 4 nice trail cam pics of him and a neighbor gave me another. I thought man why couldn't that be a day later. Sure enough, he started making pretty much the same loop. My buddy saw him first, but couldn't get a shot. He eventually made his way around to me.
