That's dogbane .....I think. I thought I read someplace that it is related to milkweed.....but I can't site the source of that, so that may be BS.

Wow I have a whole patch of dogbane but it's low spreading Vine like in Little clumps and then these upright plant started growing amongst them so it's like a different form.. interesting I think this stuff going to take stronger chemical or maybe a smother crop Clover or hairy vetch??

most all of the member sof the family exude a milky white sap when cut, which can be irritating to the skin for some people...

All the dogbane I have is of the upright growth form. Are you sure the vine like stuff is dogbane and not something else? I'm not saying it's not, I just have not seen it in a vine variety before. Let Native or someone chime in as I could be wrong.....I'm "wrong" a lot....ask my wife!

Here is a picture of the dog Bane patch / infestation you could see the upright growth and then I'll take a close up of the runners I guess they are

The 2nd photo with woody stem looks like Autumn Olive to me.

There is a spreading type of dogbane. The scientific name is "Apocynum androsaemifolium." I don't have it here and have never seen it in person, but your spreading plant looks like the pictures I've seen.

I searched and found you the links below: (let me know if that is it...you have piqued my curiosity)

Yes that is it. Thanks
