He sure does. But he’s surrounded by corn and to set in his ways to walk a mile for a lush bean field.

Yep, he has great potential. I got one that is a bit thinner in the bases......but I was hoping to see him in another year or two also. Up here on the tundra we get lots of little basket rack bucks. Problem here is....that he will never make it for another year. Too many will take him out. Same old saw.......I'm torn between shooting this buck this fall.....or letting him walk for my neighbors.

EDIT: The good thing is....that with improved nutrition.....we are finally getting some wide and tall racks around here. Maybe I will live long enough to realize my dreams? One can hope.

This is a first on my farm. I didn't think I'd ever see fruit. About 70% of my trees made some fruit this spring....woo-hoo
