Knife build thread for the trail cam Best of the Best Contest Prize.

Thank you for the build. Someone is getting an cool knife.

Very cool!

I start the edge on my 2x72 belr grinder running in reverse. Once I get close I finish by hand with a ceramic stone. It took me a while how to learn doing it by hand. But I was doing this for years before I started knife making.

Bill's question on how I sharpen knives prompted the attached video. After the belt grinder putting a rough edge to the blade I go to a ceramic stone. The final finish is done with a leather strop. Here's a knife I just finished. It has a locust handle with oak pins, the blade is 1095 that is stone washed. I hope you enjoy the video on you tube, if so please hit the like button. Thanks

I'd like to throw my hat in the ring for the 2023 knife build award. Here is some of my work. Nice scales on this "folder".....'eh? Screw Tool'n.....I got this. (😉)Tool'n.jpeg
