Is property management on smaller properties

That’s a wildlife biologist trope. I think that’s number 9896 on the list of things affecting hunting.
I don't know about a biologist trope, but I've seen more concern from my non-hunting friends and some of the competitive and sensational hunting shows hit TV. I don't see it as the end of hunting, but I do see the potential for more restrictions.

Grow or killl? I am in the Midwest so a bit different but routinely kill good deer from small properties. The largest property I have to hunt is 60 acres of timber. Couple sides have neighbors with quite a bit of pressure. Some of my best spots are nothing more than brushy draws or fencerows.

I’d say grow. Killing is killing. That comes down to strategy and luck. But if you don’t have mature deer to hunt you are chasing ghosts
