The primary purpose was to create a travel lane that I could see well from my blind. Other benefits are thickening up the cover off to the sides and providing some treetop browse. At the place it crosses the point where they bed, I did try to cross some hinged trees to create some canopy at a couple of spots that might enhance the bedding. Finally, at one spot I created sort of a blockade to steer travel in the direction I wanted.
