Stump, same thing happened to me this year. My bulbs are getting big, but all the leaves are dying. I believe the weather is a culprit. It reminds me of blight I got many years ago on tomatoes. Could the seed have been contaminated this year? I used shot plot?
I got my seed from a reputable dealer in this area and i have used it before with no problems so.... hard to say what is going on. The weeds made use of all the pot ash and nitrogen i put on. They are breaking records as far as growth goes.
