5 year old buck +
If everyone was armed we wouldn't have the problems we're forced to put up with right now. I will argue that point to no end.
Got a very old back order filled from Optics Planet. 500 rounds of Federal 9 mm for 30 something cents a round on the way. Probably will never see that price again.

4 weeks ago it was $0.63/round for 500 rounds. Now any recognizable brand is over $0.90/round.
Safety in numbers! Even if it is ammo.Yes, I'm glad I have all that I will ever need. I didn't really need the 500 rounds but glad I added it to the collection.

But if you are feeling like that box of 500 is to much for your personal supply, I am willing to take them off your hands, for a small profit for you :)
I'm late to the AR party, but getting set up now. Purchased ammo a year ago proactively. Been buying small amounts the past few weeks. Gun still isn't here yet, so it hasn't been shot and I'm not sure what it'll like or won't like. Was hoping not to buy in bulk til I've tested it a little. I see IMI 62 grain M855 SS109 penetrator tip is available in bulk for .70/round. Barrel is 1:7. 1,200 rounds is the deal. Would you guys do this or wait and see?
Ammo prices will not be coming down anytime soon. First the covid restrictions and antifa riots got people scared. That made millions of people new gun owners and ammo buyers. Now the anti 2nd amendment party have the whitehouse and both houses of congress.I'm late to the AR party, but getting set up now. Purchased ammo a year ago proactively. It's possible prices will decline from that somewhat but I honestly don't think we'll ever see sub $.50 prices for 5.56 again. So with that said, if you've got the cash .70 doesn't sound terrible. For me it just means going out and shooting a couple hundred rounds for fun isn't as practical anymore.
Where are you seeing that for .70 by the way?
I rember going through that during the Obama years. Dad had a 500 round brick at the start and I got lucky mid way through and found two more. As soon as prices and supplies returned to "normal" I bought 20,000 rounds, stored them in soup cans with an O2 absorber and stashed them under the bed.Neighbor just bought his boy a first Gun a 22 for his birthday. Asked me what brand of ammo he should look into, told him any he could find. He could probably trade his truck for a brick or two.Needless to say that is a lost cause and I will be sending him a couple boxes for his birthday over. Sad state of affairs when you can’t go plink anymore at will. Having 4 boys at home will probably be purchasing pellet rifles soon if this continues.
