I was hoping that was the case Scott, it occurs both in areas I planted it, and another section where I didn't plant it at all. Could be in the native seedbank (I'm in MO) but I was suprised it was that prevalent in the areas I didn't plant it.. Just disked it and see what grew up as early successional cover.
It seemed to grow rather fast and and be quite prevalent so that's why I wasn't 100% certain. Its basically formed a mat everywhere after it lodged, as you can see from the bottom picture.
The seed heads look more like Big Blue but its only 18" or so tall everywhere. First year that the area was disked though..
