Deer in the headlights when they finally see the camera.

I don't think it's trespassers. Pretty far off the road for two women to be walking around. I gave MDC permission to trap turkeys for banding and electronic collars. Probably interns. Looks like an aerial photo in her hand.

Think this one was puzzled by the rub tree :) came right to it though.

I like the orange hats. You got any seasons going on right now? Yep, looks like maps and confusion. LOL

Bow season. They probably have to wear them as part of job rules.

I think they think you are a crappy tree planter. Gotta put a camera on them just to see if the trees grow?

To get to this spot they had to walk past my 3 acre nursery fenced with double gallager style electric fence. I'm sure they think I'm a lunatic. :D

You need to put little signs on all your habitat stuff with a picture and description just like on those nature trails. If they're going to be involved with the MDC then you might as well teach them something.

I would think they would wait until after hunting season.I remember when they trapped them around here, the trapper was telling landowners they had to let him since they had been transplanted in the area. All I can say is the landowner and some other people made sure the nets didn't quite work right.Another place they trapped didn't have turkeys for 2-3 years after that. All those blasting caps going off scared the bejesus out of them I guess

They asked permission and asked me if I wanted them to wait till after the season. I said no, start whenever. As an out of state landowner nothing could better for me than MDC trucks parked on the road all over my place a few times a week for the next 3 months. They did it on me last year also. It's a kill study so if a collar stops moving they come out and investigate. Which means they will randomly be there throughout the year. I'm in the system as "do not enter" from Oct - Nov.

I'm glad to have them. Last year it didn't take long for the coconut telegraph to light up with reports of heavy MDC presence on my farm.

I did give them a few spots to hold off on that I'll hunt a few more times. Last year they respected those request.

I would punish her......

Maybe 30 years ago. Today, she'd jujitsu your old a$$

Ya, your probably right. The best I could do would be to disappoint her!
