Freezing temps with recently grafted apple and plum trees

Last week I grafted approximately 30 apple trees and stored them in my garage. For the past week we have had temps around 55 degrees. Yesterday I decided to graft the remaining 80 Apple trees on b118 and g30 rootstock and 10 plum trees (in the orchard). I prepped the Apple trees in buckets to begin the healing process for 2 weeks. I didn't have any protection for the plums. I just checked my garage temp and it is 19 degrees so I am wondering if the graft will take now that the temp has dropped so significantly.

What are your thoughts? Total loss on the plums? How many Apple trees do you think will take?

Tough to answer that one. I guess you will find out!:) Most stone fruit like/need warmer temps to callus. I am guessing your success on the plums will likely be poor. So you had 2 weeks of moderately warm temps after grafting before the cold snap? That 2 week window may have been enough for the apples to callus enough to survive.
