A bird feeder with a blended bird seed can meet feeding ban specs in places with a bird seed carve out. When you used a mixed blend, sparrows will come by and put all of it on the ground for you to get at the few sunflower seeds in the mix. I've watched sparrows clean out a cylinder feeder in a day trying to get at the 50 sunflower seeds in a pound of feed.
