It’s taken a few year, but I finally have a few trees with good chestnut burs on them. The seedlings I planted about 5 years ago are mostly doing really well. Some are over 10 feet tall, others are still struggling along. The ones in full sun are at the obvious advantage. Here’s a pic of the first bur I found. Many more to come in the years ahead!
