5 year old buck +
I kinda figured but threw it out there anyway in case there's any new operators. It's a good feeling to pluck a tree out with roots attached and very little dirt on those roots. Put the blade down and smooth it like the tree was never there. I only have a 30" bucket that has gotten me by this far but about an 18" would be a great option for making a skinnier ditch for drainage. I'm always keeping an eye on the bolt that holds the bucket on. Usually have to get out and tighten that thing just about every time I use it. Lost the bolt once and the oddly shaped wedge piece that holds the bucket on. At the time they were getting $95 for that wedge. I watch it closely now.The picture with the strap is me straightening a leaning apple tree. The machine will pluck 3-4” trees like toothpicks. It is definitely addictive. No bugs, climate control, stereo, etc. It’s very comfortable. The projects are limitless. I’m getting a 24” rake, 18” bucket, and frost ripper. That should cover everything I need to do with it.
