Dunstan's

I believe dunstans tend to be on the poorer producing side as far as Chinese chestnuts go on a lbs of nuts produced per tree basis. I’d plant some if I got a great deal on them locally but if I’m going to order trees I’d likely go full Chinese over dunstan trees.

I haven't been in the chestnut growing game as long as many here, but my Dunstans seem to be slightly more vigorous compared to most. Maraval is my best grower, but Dunstan is a close second. None of mine are old enough to say which produces the most for food though.
