Do you remember it being colder

I saw Mondovi WI got about 21" Luckily I live far enough north where we only got 5". From south of Eau Claire to Lacrosse they got nailed and then east to Green Bay. Living up here keeps the rif raff out. Don't find too many homeless druggies when it gets -30.

Eastern Wisconsin still getting hammered.

We got another 8 inches on top of the 25 to 28 we had yesterday. Now the wind is blowing with 40 mph gusts. Marinette county is in a snow emergency until Wednesday.

Ouch....I remember the night I despondently looked at several feet of new snow on March 20, 1992 (the first day of spring), and thought, "This is ridiculous." It was June before the ice left the bay on Lake Vermillion. We had snow and 7 degrees this morning, but at least it will be 70 on Wednesday and 80 on Friday. One of the advantages of Missouri in March.

The lack of "unhoused persons with substance use disorders" was definitely less in Hibbing, MN than it was in Shafter, CA--two similarly size towns. Of course, Minneapolis is "exceptional."

Praying you all weather the storm safely!

-17 this morning in NW WIsconsin
We only got about 8 inches from the storm that we were suppose to get 20", I am ok with that. No 70's or 80's in our forcast, but some mid 40"s, which will feel nice.

They've pegged us at 24.7 inches. Wind direction was good for our house, the drifts are in our yard and not the driveway after I plowed it.

Our Saint Bernard is loving it. When she finally comes in it's with snowcicles frozen all over her.
