One of the things that I like about the Green Cover Seed calculator is that it shows exactly the amount of each seed in a "blend" but you don't have to have it pre-mixed. Just analyze the recommendation, and then order the seed separately and mix, (or not mix), and plant accordingly. The important thing is that they show you the seed ratio that you need when certain forages will be grown together. They also classify varieties as "Excellent" ; "Good" ; "Marginal"; and "Not Recommended" as pertaining to your goals, mixture, zip code and other factors.
