Diatomaceous earth for tick control?

This is news to me.

If it actually works, a person would have to be very careful not to overdo it. I'd imagine this would also take a bunch of beneficials along with it.

It would be very easy to load this up into the blower and blast an area quickly. A person would need to be careful not to get downwind of it though.

I put it in my chickens dust bath mixed with dry sand. Bye bye mites. Oh and if you have slugs in the garden sprinkle a little around the plants they eat like cabbage.
