Depth bands on drill openers

Anyone ever used these on a no-till drill? I noticed them on a recent listing for a Truax drill. Makes sense to me to keep seed from being planted too deep when there are high spots. Especially on those truax drills that throw the small seed into the same tube as the large seed. For my uses,

This is the listing I saw them on. https://www.tractorhouse.com/listin...uax-flxii-88g-grain-drills-planting-equipment

Edit: just realized i wasn't thinking about thatch and duff that may complicate how deep these things are set.. I could see maybe setting them at 2" on my drill if that was an option.

Planted my prairies with the Truax the county rents. They had those depth bands on there, which seems critical for planting at 1/4" depth on Prarie seed, IMO.
