Deer with manes?

I've seen a couple over the urs. Last season I shot one with a mane and tanned his neck as a throw rug type of thing. This evening I got pics of one with a mane all the way to his butt. Probably more accurate to call them ridgebacks since it's really just hair growing the wrong way. Anybody else have these running around?

There was an area in SW Mississippi that had maned deer. I don't know if they still have them there or not. It's pretty cool though.

I dont know recall if I have ever personally killed one, but have seen a few that have been killed.
