Thanks John. Appreciate all the help you give here!this is the goal, updates should be over the air after that , there is also possibility that you may need manual update something in the future but the goal is all OTA going forward .
then the only way you can update is manually with an sd card, the home would need to be connected to the server to receive the update. What if you don't have a cell plan?
Just a quick update: everything is working very well now. Thanks to John and extremely fast customer service getting the new camera to me.Thanks. John and I talked through my issue. It turned out to be a bad camera. I sent it off last week and already have either a fixed camera or a new one on the way. Hopefully, that will take care of my problems.
it does not , only the L series home syncs with cell tower timeDoes a K series home set its clock using the cell service? Over the weekend, I noticed my network was about 20 minutes earlier than the actual time. (Using 9.3.0 firmware)
once the remotes are set up , connected and transmit images or you arm the after running a link level they will show up, they dont show up in real time.@john volkman I have a home unit and 4 cameras that I recently purchased. I updated the firmware in all of them. I did buy a cell plan. The home unit is deployed and one camera so far is deployed. When I view the devices on my account, only the home unit is listed. Should the other camera(s) be on there as well? I thought I would have to add all cameras with "add new device" but there are no L series cameras other than "L-Cell Home" that is available. Only my Home Cell unit had a QR code as well.
I feel like once I get everything set up I will be good but getting there is going to be quite a chore for this brain..

L home will eventually sync with the cell tower, and the remotes will then sync to the home, give it a day or two - you can also always set the date and time on the home manually if needed,I had some pictures come through from when I was setting the camera up. The date is showing 11/11/2025 and the time is a few hours earlier than when it actually was taken. Device status online shows the correct date but is an hour behind. But, activation date is showing 11/11/2025 which is what is stamped on my pictures. Should this correct itself?

the remote will link to the home directly if it can, otherwise it will go to next the best option , the link level you see on the camera is based on whatever unit it is linked to - the only way to determine if it is linked directly to the home is to look at the report, and it can change by the hour or even minute, the system figures it out, so as long as you get a level above 20 you should not have any issues, it will send images with a much lower link level than 20 but shoot for that as a goal.Thanks. They already synced up today.
Another question. When I am setting up cameras I am looking at the link level to see if i have a good connection. Is the link level always going by its connection to the home cell unit? I know the cameras will daisy chain if they need to so I was wondering about distance and whatnot from camera to camera that may need to daisy chain. I didn’t know if the link level I was seeing accounted for other remote cameras in the area or if it was just going by the home unit.
So far the cameras I have deployed are doing good but my property has a lot of hills and terrain changes and I suspect I might come across a situation where I will have to be strategic with daisy chaining a couple cameras.

Mine look like that on foggy nights. Any chance that was the issue?I made my cameras do a test photo last night and was wondering if there is a setting issue or something else going on because the pictures are not good.
