Cuddelink general Q&A recommendations

yes they are still working on the back end, dont be concerned if your images are still there- this is why they are doing it now during the "off " season
THERE IS NO OFFSEASON FOR TRAILCAMERA PICS! It's a year-round addiction! :p

they are working on AI recognition, which once ready, will be much better than the filtering option which after review less than 1% of people actually used the feature
Wow. That kind of shocks me. I mean the old filtering system wasn't great but it was nice to be able to tag a buck and then go back and find previous years or months.

If this isn't in the works it would also be nice in the camp feature to scroll from one enlarged picture to the next in sequence without having to "X out" and then click on another.

on my lap top in camp i just click on a pic to enlarge it and then just use the arrow button on my keyboard to see the next in sequence full size without an X out , does your computer not do that ?

I’ve learned that trick as well. But if you then mark one as a favorite, the arrow button quits working. However, if you then click in the middle of the picture somewhere you will regain the arrow function. It would be nice if camp did not change the focus of the cursor when you marked a favorite.

Thank you. That does work on my computer.

the new camp page is continually being tweaked, if anyone notices any oddities please comment, base your comments on what you are seeing today 2/21, as many things have been changed in the last day or two.

It would be nice if as things are changed an email could be sent out or another form of communication outlining the specific changes and functions. It would probably give the Cuddeback customers the fullest use and understanding of the products as well as preventing some of the same reoccurring quetions from being asked to folks like you and customer service. Another company I use for our on-line store sends out an email every Sunday outlining changes and updates within the system that most folks overlook.

I will pass that on but they are going to send notices in form of pictures(as they have already) and also announcements in the app. The ongoing issue with emails is many get blocked, not just sent to junk or spam, but blocked completely. Meaning that neither the customer nor cuddeback knows that they didnt receive it. You can thank all the true spammers in the world for this problem. The amount of time spent on Customer service and engineering in regards to emails not being delivered is honestly crazy. This is why most cell camera brands dont offer email delivery. Going forward, if you have email delivery set up already it will be grandfathered and you will continue to have images emailed but new customers and devices will need to use the app or camp to view images. I think if people knew they were not receiving 100% of the images their cameras were taking, they would be much more apt to use the app and camp to view images. The only way to know for sure is to compare your sd cards to emails recieved and nobody should have to do that. The app and camp delivery methods cant be blocked, so we can insure that all are delivered.

I can completely relate as a business owner that unfortunately needs to rely on email to get the word out to my customers. Email is an extremely frustrating tool. Sending text/information that shows up as a "picture" in Camp works for me. I just like to know that I am using the products I own to the best of my ability. I like seeing picture come up in my email, but I almost always go into Camp at least once a day to review incoming photos.

The "banner" notifications above the photos displayed in camp seem to be wacky/inaccurate a lot of my notifications up there are "camera disconnected" notifications, which aren't true or were maybe for just long enough to trigger the notification. If that is the case for most people, then I could see how most people would just stop looking at that information.

A change log on their website would be appreciated.

I may be missing it, but I'd like to see a dark/light mode toggle for Camp and the app.
