Cuddeback's Cuddelink

I haven't been able to get any text messages from my K cameras only my G series cell home units. Odd.

Today first day to try Text pics. Got several this morning, I like it so far, but I’ve got 4-5 emails and no texts. Who knows!

They must have seen our conversation, I just got a Text, but no corresponding email. Lol

I switched my camera to the 12 hr setting for the cell. Also found out that my time was wrong on the camera, so that was part of the issue with me getting the reports as it wasn't in sync with the timer on the cell booster. I still ended up getting all the pics. Since the acorns are falling, I am not getting many pics per day. I think the 12 hr setting will work better for me since I will get a couple pics twice a day. LOL>

John, is 1385 the repeater? And what external power pack fits it?

As just a repeater, is the battery life going to be similar to the G’s?
cuddepower booster fits the 1385, life will be similar to the gs or better if not taking pics.

Rather than sending email and text differently, I think the cell units actually send the pictures to a Cuddelink server somewhere which then gets forward to the 10 relay addresses that are setup on CAMP (my guess on how this works). When setting up relay cell phone on CAMP you input an email address rather than just the cell number (xxxxxxx@vzwpix.com, for example).

At any rate, my unit is setup in an area where I have consistent, strong LTE coverage so cell reception shouldn't be an issue.
this is correct, our camp sends to all , the K camera is only sending to Cudde, if you are getting emails or texts to some of your address but not others on your map listing its on your provider not on cuddeback, they are all sent out at the same time.

How do I fix this John?

let us know who the provider is and we can look into it but asking them to white list Cuddeback, also adding noreply@cuddelink.com to your contacts helps.

It was on my gmail account where I didnt get it. But a hotmail account got the email.

Same issue for me. Missing some messages on Gmail that shows up via text. Strange because it is intermittent. Now that I've got messages coming to both my email and via text I will hopefully not miss anything.

Just a temporary lapse in service, text and emails are blowing up my phone. I think I’ll just stick with the gmail.

G series blackflash night pictures are great. Daytime photos looking like this? What could be the issue? Thanks

Are all your daytime pictures like that? Looking at the time stamp and the pic, it looks like it is foggy out and the sun is just about to come over the horizon in the background and that is causing it. Some locations are bad for having early morning fog issues like that. Also if the sunlight is behind the deer like that at a particular time in the morning it will causes issues with pictures quality. Do you have any middle of the day pictures?

Sunlight facing directly into camera not the best scenario. No way camera can expose correctly looking directly into sun. It can also overwhelm PIR. Detection may also suffer disfunctions.

The camera is actually facing north- it’s on a hill so it gets some light in the background topping the trees in the morning. The night pictures also have a little fuzz to it- my other cameras don’t look like this and I have 8 of them out with 2 others on a field like situation. All facing north. Not sure if this has something to do with the adjustable slide on the front of the camera which was my hope. This one I believe is full open compared to others- would this cause these issues? Any help would be appreciated Thanks

That has nothing to do with the pic quality. The adjustable slide is for the PIR/fresnal lense. That detects heat/motion to trigger the cam to take a pic.

Dang- well there goes that hope :) learning my way through cuddeback, I’ve been on the covert train for years prior. I hope this camera isn’t damaged and that it could actually be fog, but my others are on adjacent spots with no fog- but maybe that hill gets it more. Ill keep monitoring the next couple of days

Move camera or swap with another camera. It’s deer season. Time’s wasting. Lol. You may can tilt camera down slightly, get the skyline out of picture.

You may be having a humidity condition. I have a camera on a game patch with no overhead cover. I see the same conditions in early morning and nighttime.E8BC050C-834C-4121-89C7-33566DFAD048.jpegBF901D27-B82C-45F5-995C-2EB25F76F16F.jpeg68FC978E-AC55-4D2D-B47A-695FC13FDF5B.jpeg

I just put batteries in my Dual Power Banks for the first time and love that I don't need a screwdriver to do so, great design change Cuddeback!! :emoji_thumbsup:
I have never needed a screw driver, guess I don't understand
