All I can say is this was one tremendous amount of work. I should have enlisted a helper LOL. It went well though and I really believe I planted them right. Thanks everyone for all the advice.

I like the big weed mat, what size is that?

Weed mat is Lumite 6' x 6'. The cages are 5 foot diameter and 5 foot high and they seem to fit just right on the 6 x 6 mats.

I have enough chicken manure to fill my raised bed for my trees but i'm not sure thats what I should use, maybe i could mix a portion of it in.

I have access to cow manure and mushroom compost as well. I'm not sure what to use.

My nursery bed is 6.5ftx6.5ftx9 inches. If i have it 1/2 full with a mixture of cowmanure and saw dust what would u fill the other half with? Just want to make sure i dont burn my trees.
