If you've followed this thread, then you know that I'm a firm advocate of cautious, measured responses. With that having been said...it's time to get back to life. The shutdowns were to keep the health care system from being overwhelmed. Done. We need to accept that we are going to lose people to this disease, and that's a tragic but inescapable fact. We were able to prevent losing more people than necessary because we "flattened the curve". We succeeded. Now, I'm not saying that we should all start hugging each other and licking doorknobs, but with appropriate precautions it's an acceptable risk. I urge everyone to stay safe and to be thoughtful of others as we come out of the dark. And plant some trees lol.
