I actually heard today of someone I know who has tested positive. Doesn’t live anywhere close to me but first person I know Been a week I guess. Has no symptoms and was tested because of close contact with another positive. Has 3 more days and going back to work. Good news

This post would normally belong on the new thread (could get back to CV); relevant to my first post over there; however, If I had posted Rachel M as proof for why Trump made changes in the supply chain, I suspect some folks here would get more than a little upset.... like... if I said .... it appears he took her advice. Maybe he watches her, he admits he watches Cuomo.

I simply don't know how to respond to some folks on this site. Why be so defensive ... what difference does it make whether I am pro or anti Trump .... or pretty much neutral just looking for the truth.

Incidentally, I wasn't endorsing the Bulwark site, or it's contents, I merely attempted to illustrate how what was alleged to be conservative might post something you'd expect from the left.

Bill ... when you finish "checking-me-out" I would appreciate/expect a full public exoneration. Throwing rocks in the ice cream is not good in any society; tried to make it better than something in the punch bowl. :emoji_slight_smile:

It's nothing personal guy. Just lots of check marks with you. You don't seem to participate in any threads other than the political ones. I haven't seen anyone step forward and vouch for you or claim to know you.

There is an old trick emerging among Trump supporters to go online and pretend to be anti-Trump to drive the independents off the fence and right into the President's camp.
 
Oakseeds does have a good thread ongoing for a couple years. Lotta pics and tips. I think you're probably spot on with pretending to be anti-Trump assessment. He's using jedi tricks.

Doubtful he is a secret agent or a member "formally known as......."

back to the reason for this thread. I find this interesting. The CDC put out a weekly chart on US deaths for a two month period. 2/1 to 3/28. Cause of death “All” “pneumonia” and “covid”

the total numbers plummeted the last week of March while obviously the covid #’s increased. Makes me wonder if some of the earlier #’s of pneumonia weren’t mis diagnosed. Either way this stay at home thing had a significant impact on deaths. We went from 40 to 50K deaths/week to 28K the week ending 3/28

I absolutely agree that many DOA's early on were not credited to Covid and that it's still happening in some places, on a much smaller scale though.
 
I believe some may be picked up later IF, and WHEN, they do an autopsy
 
Hmmmm,

NJ governor has been calling for retired nurses and Docs to volunteer. My wife previous nurse with ER, critical care and even experience with TB patients registered two weeks ago. Zero, zip, nada

March 18th governor announced they would be reopening a closed hospital near our home in 3 weeks to handle over flow. 3 weeks is up this Wednesday (in two days). We just drove there, wife wanted to volunteer in person. Place looked deserted but a guy exited carrying a bag of trash wearing gloves and a mask. Wife explained why we were there. He told us the project is on hold and nothing has been done in the last 2 1/2 weeks except they cleaned to the place.....
 
Well we are at 10,000 US deaths, maybe we wont reach that 100,000-240,000 number, and it is just a media scare tactic? Lets hope anyhow.
 
10k people died from pneumonia in the month of February in the US. Seems to me we should have been practicing social distancing and safer at home all along.

I really try my best on the other forum SD, and still can't seem to get banned over there. Maybe I should try here. I could whip out the Poppy links I guess.

Wonder if high command is shipping this one off to the gulag?? Her own comrades are probably furious with her. Must be upset with Governor Whitmer for doing a 180 on hydroxychloroquine too in the course of about 48 hours.

My wife has been working at home because of this.
She works in HR and is normally in a room full of hens clucking all day long about nothing. She does not have her usually female support group that likes to talk about inane stuff so she has constantly been yammering at me every chance she gets if I'm home. Doesn't matter if I am watching TV or in the garage or yard...I even try and throw out curve ball topics like porn or hunting or fishing...I even pretend to be sleeping, she just deflects and drones on about another topic I have zero interest in. WTF?!!!!
Thirty two years with her and I love her to death.... but seriously......I can't wait for turkey season to start!

Thats all................
