Coronavirus

Two co-workers and myself where together on a Friday about a month ago. One got a phone call-from a guy he played golf with the day before that he tested positive. I had already had COVID in November of last year and got the jab around April maybe June. I didn’t get sick both co worker’s did come down with COVID one called his independent Dr and he prescribed Ivermectin and some other things over the phone never even saw the guy. He called it his COVID Care package. Other guy went to hospital tested positive and was sent home. Week almost ten days latter the second guy went back to hospital spent night there then ICU at different hospital then ventilator then death. I truly don’t know if vaccine helped me or not solid maybe. But I do know for sure if I or any of my family or friends test positive I’d urge them to see the Dr that prescribed Ivermectin. Not the go home and let’s see if you survive this on your own BS that the hospitals are preaching. Oh wait could it be the government has mandated the care the hospital can give???? This seems more and more plausible every day

My wife is vaxed, I’m not. I’m a firm believer in, “it’s a personal choice”.
If someone reports that I died of covid don’t feel bad for me. I died free….

I’m not saying you should get vaccinated. Idc what you do that’s called freedom and I’m willing to fight for it. I have the 214 to prove it.
Wasn’t directed at you. Just a statement in general. I’m all in favor of someone getting the Vaxx if it’s their choice.

I never thought it was. I just want folks to know that even many of us that have been vaccinated think the mandate is utter and complete tyranny from on out of control federal government.

I am now in a mixed vaxed family as well. My wife’s work required if, so rather then bucking the system, which she doesn’t do, she just got the shot. I am fine with that, it was her choice. Myself, I am a buck the system kind of guy. Tell me to do something and I probably won’t do it. Ask me nicely, and there is a good chance I will do it.

A good example, a previous job, we were under staffed, and I would voluntarily stay late, and go in on Saturdays, they learned this, so they started scheduling me to come in on Saturdays, I laughed and told them I don’t work Saturdays, but they said you have been coming in most Saturdays anyhow, I told them but it was my choice to come in, and I could go in, and leave when I wanted, or not go in at all if I had something better to do.

They tried to tell me I had to be there, I told them I won’t, they said I have no choice. I never worked another Saturday, until they got rid of the mandatory Saturdays, then I started coming in Saturdays again. It was actually rather comical, they would come to me on Friday afternoon and tell me they scheduled work for me, I said awesome. They eventually learned I go into get caught up, so the week isn’t as stressful, I didn’t go into have another stressful day of appointments. When I volunteered to work Saturdays it benefited me, so I did it. When I saw no personal benefit, I had no interest. Kinda like the vaccine.

And thanks for your service!

The greater good argument is a very slippery slope. Once we go down that road, the possibilities are endless.

I don’t want the direction or duration of my life being run by a government committee bought and paid for by monied interests. The idea that the government cares more about me than I care about me is silly.

It took a long time to beat back the Eugenicists, nazis, and every other cult of psychos on earth hell bent on murdering as many people as possible. A lot of good men died freeing the undesirables of earth. Let’s not be so eager to bring all that back.

Every dictatorship in history started with the its for the greater good argument.
This is why i was opposed to enforcing seatbelts and banning smoking most everywhere. Once you give government that kind of power they will just keep trying to build on that power.

This is how some want it to be. Shameful

Interesting that they give fluvoxamine so much applause with less than 1,500 participants yet the same publication (Lancet) refuses to give Ivermectin the time of day even though they (Lancet) published the Meta-analysis of Ivermectin studies involving over 25,000 people and admit it worked great :/

Funny story because i am able to laugh at myself.
I read the article sd posted and by the time i got done i thought "I need to post this on Habotat talk" . I copied the link and almost finished the post before i thought "wait a minute, i saw this somewhere else!".
