Coronavirus

If you don't think Gates and others are working on the technology to chip all of us for some reason or another, I think you may be kidding yourself. Whether it's the covid vaccine or some other vaccine in the future, the development of that technology is inevitably being worked on somewhere by some entity.

I would assume all the politicians will be first in line for the vaccine? They have tied the country’s fate to it, the least they could do is be the rats they already are.

I don't want to get into the weeds on this topic. But, the idea of somehow infusing a micro-chip in a vaccine does not appear to be feasible, by Bill Gates, or anyone else according to factcheck. Just keepin' it real. https://www.factcheck.org/2020/04/conspiracy-theory-misinterprets-goals-of-gates-foundation/
They don't need to micro chip us. They will deny us to access any public building without having been vaccinated, wont allow our children to attend school, won't allow us to conduct business, etc., etc., etc..

If soup or sandwich is the new standard, couldn't beer be considered 'barley soup'?

This is my take:

I'm done following most of the rules with regard to Covid. I was done after about the first 6 weeks. In the beginning, I had no problem social distancing, staying home, wearing a mask, etc.

After about 6 weeks I decided "This is enough. The government and the vulnerable people have had enough time to figure things out. It is not reasonable to continue on a path to social chaos and economic ruin. The vulnerable people have had time to make arrangements with friends or family to have groceries delivered so that they can stay home and avoid risking their lives. People with vulnerable friends and family should be doing what they can to help. This is how a normal society works, and it was always how things were in my neighborhood and my family. When a neighbor was injured, sick, or otherwise incapacitated, we made them dinners. When the electricity went out in the neighborhood, the neighbors were allowed to run a hose to the house to backpressure their water because my dad had a generator. People worked together to find solutions, and that's how it should be. I'll do my part to help those who need help, but I refuse to sit at home and continue to put my entire life on hold because people can't get their shit together."

I still use hand sanitizer on my hands and shopping cart when i go to the grocery store. I still keep a reasonable distance from people at work. I still avoid the homes of elderly or otherwise vulnerable people. I do this because it doesn't cost me anything, and it helps prevent the spread of a deadly pandemic. It is a minor inconvenience. Masks aren't much of an issue here because no one seems to be required to use them. If it was a requirement I would probably wear one within reason. But as far as social and economic activity, I'm done putting it on hold.

I took the time to dissect this information when a friend asked me a few questions so I wanted to share here.

How many otherwise healthy people have died of Covid like George Floyd? I think it is safe to say that we all know and agree that George Floyd’s death was terrible, and officially recorded as “died of asphyxiation”, but how many people know that he is amongst the Covid death total? That’s not all, only 6% of all (146,000) Covid deaths were reported to the CDC without any underlying conditions.
That means 8,760 otherwise healthy people died of Covid, give or take. Still sound high, even knowing deaths like Floyd’s are included?
How many Covid deaths were reported before testing was even available to confirm they actually had Covid at all? Best I can tell, the first Covid tests were approved April 23rd and began wide distribution at the beginning of May. As of April 11th (well before a test was approved) the US recorded 19,400 Covid deaths. Bear in mind Covid, seasonal influenza and pneumonia deaths are still combined in the 146,000 Covid death count. Why? Hell if I know...
Here’s my most important point of this post. How severe are the underlying conditions regarding people counted as a Covid death? The CDC has on record that ON AVERAGE, each Covid deaths had 2.6 underlying conditions.

I had read that Scandinavia had taken a much better pragmatic solution to the pandemic, having people that are at risk quarantine themselves with the bulk of society social distancing and practicing good hygiene but living their lives as normal as possible.
Here it has been quite the opposite with local government strong arming with politics and knee jerk reaction with no concern for our constitutional rights and freedoms. Many governors and mayors have way over stepped drunk with power creating their own little fiefdoms dictating to the public what they may and may not do. They have actually done way more harm at this point than good and seem not to really care. Everyone I talk to is beyond fed up with the lack of common sense and how easily some have mindlessly complied while trying to shame others for not doing so in this “free” country.
I to am beyond fed up with all of it.

Weak minded people will give up everything for a small bit of perceived safety. They'll sell their soul for what they think is someone taking care of them. And the level at which people are willing to be beholden to people without a gained measure of trust is frightening.

And that's how we will end up with communism or some form of socialism. If the 99% think the 1% control things now just give up a few more freedoms and see where we end up. Its worked so well for "the people" everywhere else that it has been tried (Cuba, China, Soviet Union, Venezuela, etc). But I'm sure it will be different here than everywhere else it has been tried, Bernie Sanders told us so. SMFH....

The moral of this story, to me, is I plan on being in the 1%. Hopefully owning all of Ohio and using it strictly as my own personal deer hunting paradise.

Everyone else can leave.
