You would think the ballroom was imperative to national security, solving the Healthcare cost crisis, or the national debt the way it's all anyone talks about the past few days.

$400 million is a waste of money we don't have, but ultimately its chump change in the grand scheme of the size/scope of the federal gov't. Makes me believe they're obsessing about it to distract from something else.

It's convenient to turn this into a distraction away from where the funds were coming from for the ballroom. Turns out, just putting "anonymous" on the source of funding is not a good idea for a federal building, especially one where the president lives. There is a reason why protocols existed before when acknowledging funding sources for projects.

Go all in on someone cause they offended Trump, fine if it was illegal, nail that slimeball, but no one has been arrested for fraud or insider trading or Epstein. WTF does that matter? The fact that someone wants to help fund it does not take away from the fact that currently the tax payer is not paying for it. TDS is getting old. I don't agree with everything the guy does but I don't have TDS.

And I agree with all of that. He is a pos that needs to suffer…but where is this outrage and motivation by the administration and frankly backers of the administration, on Epstein and fraud? I would argue bringing those to justice is way more important for this country than worrying about Jimmy Kimmel, a new ballroom, or a former FBI Director, who is no longer relevant. Sure all of those things have a time and a place, but they should come so far after the real things that matter.
