Conspiracy theorys, where do you stand?

Corn is up 8% in six months, Soybean are up 15% in 6 months. Beef is near all time high .

My farmers on the farms I own would like to see higher prices, but they all seemed encouraged by the increase? One guy bumped up the rent ? Nobody wants to give it up !

Diesel and fertilizer will eventually come back to reality, a lot of guys locked in prices.
Anhydrous is up 25% and urea is up 40%.

Whether the Straight opens or not, those LNG facilities impacted by the war are going to cause cost increases. Groceries are going to skyrocket, IMO.

The armies of europe can't defend themselves in any way shape or form.
I'm curious what makes you say this- after all everyone thought Russia would be in Kiev in a few days.

Adding that Ukraine was in denial and the other countries are preparing now...

My super nutrition conscious uber fitness nut 23 year old daughter that used to eat a lot of chicken is murdering our corn fed lean ground beef.

Hoping she's part of a bigger trend. Eat Beef! (and venison of course.)

I'm on a carnivore diet, so everything I eat is protein and fat.

I have a freezer full of moose and red deer meat, which I'm devouring, but it is 100% lean. Fish, port, and chicken aren't much better in terms of fat. Even with cream and butter in the sauces I make, I get a craving for the fattiest chunk of ribeye I can get my hands on. When I went to buy one last month, the sticker shock was a real bummer.

Beef was always so high quality and at reasonable prices. Even ground beef feels Ike luxury now.

Never ending inflation. When I was a kid we would go to the store and get 2 HUGE candy bars and a bottle of pop. Give them $1 and get back change. YEAH

My dad quit smoking when cigs hit .80 cents a pack. He said he will never pay that much.

Better than a kick in the crotch, but that gain is after a drop of 50% for corn and 30% in beans over the last 2 years. We're back at 2014 prices.

Read almost any military self evaluation by the individual countries own military evaluation teams. They all could maybe defend a few weeks. France is the strongest and could maybe be the leader. They have the only independent nuclear arsenal, I believe.

Actually read military reviews.

Not everyone thought that about Russia.

Militaries are notorious for lying in evaluations in order to keep or grow their budget. The French special forces are ruthless killers. If France joined the Ukraine war, it would probably be over in 6 months with a complete expulsion of Russians from Ukrainian territory. Plus, they have a nuclear arsenal.

Britain also has outstanding special forces and a nuclear arsenal. There are some doubts as to the current condition of the rest of their misery, but I'd wager they are still a formidable force.

The Swedes and Finns have based their entire defense strategy since 1944 on holding off a Russian invasion. Either of these countries entering the war on the side of the Ukrainians would probably tip the scales in Ukraine's favor.

This is all without considering the combined navies and air forces of Europe.

Europe would have no problem winning a conventional war against Russia if nukes were off the table. The problem is that nukes are very much on the table, and no one knows the status of the Russian arsenal.

I agree with Trump here. Get the hell of nato. Europe is largely worthless and they bring nothing to the table hardly as a military partner. This agreement is 100% one sided. He has a great point on Ukraine. Not our war but we helped tremendously. Now those limp wristed eurotrash won’t let us use their bases to strike a terror regime that has ballistic missiles that could destroy their cities, let alone help in this conflict. Additionally I’m almost certain Iran has breached the article 5 doctrine by firing missiles at nato countries, Turkey this week, and they do nothing. Now I understand Turkey not doing anything cause Muslim blood is thicker than a contract
NATO is a defensive pact. Why would NATO members be used for offensive strikes within Iran? You mention Article 5. It has only been invoked once since NATO was founded and that was for 9/11. It has to be unanimous among members, which would have never have happened for the rockets on Turkey you mentioned. There isn't really a clear definition of what military support by members means, but we sure leaned on that following 9/11 and are the only ones so far to use it and NATO supported us. What Trump and Israel have done in Iran is not defensive. We were not outright attacked. If we were, we would have invoked it before or even shortly after striking them. The messaging for why we attacked Iran has been all over the place for a reason - this administration doesn't know what it's doing. Rubio co-sponsored a bill just 3 years ago mandating the President to get congressional approval for leaving NATO and now he is supporting Trump to do the opposite?

All of this about NATO is just talking points for rationalizing a poor plan from the beginning that did not include our partners in Europe. In the process, this "brilliant negotiator" is pushing allies away to save face when we are the only ones to have used Article 5 so far. Limp-wristed? We are the ones looking weak right now and it was entirely self-inflicted. The defensive pact protected our interests in europe and substantially contributed to our global strength. Russia invaded Ukraine specifically to prevent a stronger NATO. This helps Russia and weakens our soft and likely literal power in the short and long term.

I think you're greatly over estimating European military actual ability. The military self reports that I've seen, on line, were pretty honest.

Yes, they have more military capability than third world countries but that war is nearly already lost.

You mean the "brilliant negotiator" is being impulsive?

These Countries have shirked responsibilities for security for too long to pay for their green visions and their 3 day work weeks. It’s about time they come to the realization the US is not going to brunt the cost. Billions spent on Ukraine so that Russia is not on their doorstep but they’re not letting us use some air bases? Ridiculous. HAs Spain even come up to their required amount yet? I don’t believe they have.

I don't think so. I think everyone just spent 75 years vastly overestimating the Russian military. I'm not saying the Europeans are something special, I'm saying the Russian military turned out to be garbage.

I would not trust any military self report I found online. There is absolutely no reason for any country to be honest about their military capabilities publicly. What is the point of having having military secrets if you publish them online?

The main benefit the Europeans have is modern technology and a singular defense strategy. Remember the Russian convoy that ran out of gas outside Kiev? A single sortie by a modern European air force could have destroyed the whole thing and established air superiority by the end of the day.

Yes, this is rapidly changing, and drones will feature prominently in future conflicts, but no one seems to have a clear advantage yet.

That's why when someone said everyone thought Russia would get to Kiev easily (paraphrase) I said, not everyone.

Never said they give up secrets, they evaluate. Our military does the same. Look at all the posts here, from their research, about our military and Trump having no clue.

Pretty hard to find accurate and correct information in the world we're living in right now. jmho

The best I can do is look at several different disparate sources and pick out what are the most likely the facts. I trust none of them.
