Conspiracy theorys, where do you stand?

If you are angry that Democrats enrich themselves with stock trades, what the Trump family and close associates are doing should infuriate you. Its like Pelosi on steroids x100.

Hold your guy to the same standards as you hold the other guy to.

For the record I hold “my side” to a higher standard. I don’t want to have the same standards as my opposition. With that I know those guys are insanely corrupt. Swamp my ass

I think the president has lost the majority of his support. I don’t know anyone that’s throwing confetti for all the wars hes starting. I’d expect record low voter turnout overall this fall, but especially low for the GOP.

I agree but I think it’s a myriad of reasons. Some of its wars, some support that but I’d say everything besides the border has been an abject failure. The economy is what’s so surprising to me. I’m not sure it’s even better than Biden’s.

Funny you mention that. The first anti-war Trump term pushed a lot of the national security voters away from the Republican party. His new foreign policy this term might actually bring some of them back. Sure it will put a damper on the enthusiasm of the anti-war Trumpers, but I don't think most will turn away from him because of this. There's still the lesser-of-two-evils factor when considering Republicans vs/ Democrats, so there's a good chance they will hold the majority. We'll see how long their memory is as we go along with primaries. A little bit of non-Trumpian influence in the Republican party could be a good thing.

One of the most frustrating things about Trump is how inconsistent and unpredictable he is. I find it very hard to gauge the political atmosphere. And the media just reports contradictory bullcrap all the time, so I don't trust what they say.

Fingers crossed we don't go back to DEI, wokism, white men bad, stop oil, defend police leftist crap that's ruining parts of the country.

I don't think the economy is Trump's fault. He could do more to ease the pain, but pain is what we're in for. A massive unprecedented shift in demographics is underway, and everyone has been ignoring it. Trump has not really done much to help the problem, so it seems like we will end up being more reactive than proactive.

Unfortunately voters are probably even less proactive in their thinking than politicians. We saw that with Bush Sr. We can't get leaders who have real solutions unless they get voted into office.

I disagree. Blanket tariffs were retarded. Seemingly not having a plan for Iran closing the strait. Inexcusable and absolutely unexplainable, which may break the economy. The big beautiful spending bill driving up debt making treasury buyers leery therefore decreasing the likelihood borrowing costs come down. All the while hurling childish insults at the fed to cut rates to lower things like mortgage, despite that not being how it works.
Nevermind all the forced public/private “partnerships” and the meddling in private businesses way too much.

Inflation is not only not coming down it’s been rising and unemployment is rising. Not sure what he’s doing well with the economy.

For the record I bought into their line about it taking time but then the economy will roar. Yeah…no. It’s been almost 16 months and it’s worse.

I feel like the Obama girl thinking he was gonna pay her mortgage

How many of Trumps advisors are GOOD advisors? One man can only do so much and then whoever the sitting president is they have to rely on their "people" to help them make decisions. Nothing goes quickly when the government is involved. Media certainly isn't going to be helping Trump that's for sure. Everyone bitching. Guess people will have to vote Democrat then in the next election so we can finally get back on track.

According to Trump all of his advisors and cabinet members are all top notch and the best the country has, or ever will have.
Excuse me now while I go spit out a mouth full of puke.

Crazy part is the “experts” sure did a hell of a job on both.
For the record I love the dismantling of Iran, I just think the economic foresight was insanely mismanaged. And it’s super comforting when the billionaire president and his merry band of corrupt hang ons tell me I should be ok with the erosion of the economy cause it’s patriotic.

We had the "2 weeks to flatten the curve". Now we just have a weekend military exercise.

Hahaha, that describes all these never trumpers here commenting! not having any of the information the president has.
I’m gonna play devils advocate. So the president has all this information, which I believe he obviously does, and he still attacked without a contingency for the strait and resulting energy prices? Mind you at a time when a huge part of his campaign was based on lower prices and sleepy joes horrid economy which he beat to death. And I know he didn’t have a plan because 2 weeks in he was all but begging and then threatening other countries to come help. And now he’s removing sanctions on russia and possibly Iran…that’s right Iran, the country we are attacking.

So from where i sit, im watching the largest jump in energy prices ever, the chance of interest rate cuts disappear because inflation will soar (because of energy prices), the midterms being a blood bath, and the possibility of a recession looming. If that was part of the plan I’m gonna say he nailed it.

I'm wondering why I vote for repubs as they don't seem to pass anything when they have majorities.

I think one of the biggest long-term blunders by Trump is how he has been treating our closest allies to the benefit of China. Both England and Canada are working on trade agreements with China right now. Most Central and South American countries are doing the same. In 2016, Brazil was supplying about 40% of China's soybeans. In 2017 Trump pushed for tariffs with China and that only made it easier for both China and Brazil. China now gets over 70% of their soybeans from their relatively new friend. He not only refused to learn from this but doubled down on it, pissing off our allies in the process. Oh, and it increased government spending because we had to bailout farmers to off-set the unforced blunder.

I think Canada and England are tired of the roller coaster ride.

I don’t mind distancing socially and militarily with Canada and England. Keep like an arms length relationship. They are almost lost causes. England is basically a middle eastern country. The bloke from North Fartshire is rapidly being replaced by Akhmed from Syria, and as they do, they are breeding themselves into power in the populated areas. Canada can’t hardly be taken seriously. But their money is still green and their association with China only further hurts us. I appreciate an American first rhetoric, the problem is either it’s bs or the implementation has been horrible.
