Conspiracy theorys, where do you stand?

Don’t be puzzled. A man who is not attached to any of that is doing what he must.

SD I am surprised at how timid you really are. As far as Cuba goes its time another communist country in the west falls into oblivion. Remember what happened with Kennedy and Cuban missile crisis? Thank God a true Democrat stood up for us. He didn't kick the can down the road. If some die in Cuba but the remaining lives grow brighter in the future I am so glad for them. I watched Iranians dance in the street and I'm dam sure Rubio and all the Cubans will be so thankful. As far as the chokepoint in the straights goes you can bet on two things. Number 1 anyone not helping will be paying either a tariff or higher oil bills from the USA and they deserve it. Number 2 nato as you know is over. These countries are to cheap to pay a meager 5 percent and that 5% will either be made higher or nato will be basically dissolved and we can stop spending funds to protect a bunch of free loaders. They would be speaking geman now. SD i really am believing you didn't vote for Trump cause if you did you would have expected bold leadership. The world is changing rapidly and if you want more truth do you understand why they want to move Iran's money in the international banking system so it can be seized. Yup I said it.

I voted for him, because he said he'd end the war in Ukraine. I voted for him because he was going to make america healthy again. I voted for him because he pledged to deal with the epstein stuff once and for all. He was gonna drain the swamp, put america first, and end all these stupid foreign entanglements, balance the budget, bring down food prices, and make housing more affordable.

He's gone the opposite direction on all of it. So I'm out.

We are not at war because of freedom and democracy or good vs evil or to stop the drugs coming over the border. We are taking resources from poor countries and wholesale bombing people all over the globe. I'm not signing onto any of this, not the death, not the debt, not the theft from poor countries, the glyphosate immunity, the pedophile protection racket.

My support has indeed changed. My values have not.

Maybe we should let hm finish. Before judging. And I’m not happy with this stuff. But the alternative isn’t pretty.

You forgot pay off the countries debt without raising taxes.

We're 14 months into this administration, pretty early really. I voted for Trump for many of the things everyone did, but mostly because we end up voting for the lesser of two evils in every election. I believe the other choice would have been a total disaster.....like ship going down disaster. Have patience, and stop watching the "news" too much

Joe Kent is going to run for congress again. Probably with Trumps support. That’s what it is really about.

Iran was always about regime change. I would have preferred a good old fashioned coup. Neither really work but hey a guy can wish. Hard not to enjoy warheads on foreheads for those assholes though.

The veep saying “we got a smart president instead of dumb presidents” was one of the most undignified things I have ever heard uttered in the White House. Gross.

An attack on one NATO ally is an attack on all. An attack BY one NATO ally isn’t an attack by all NATO allies. There is a difference.

Just took a fantastic vacation to the Carribean which isn’t normally my deal. Great friends, great food, lots of soaking in warm clear water was good for the soul. No politics discussed, no gossip posing as news, I will never not comment on the events of the day but I realized less of all this is what I need.

He must not have been full of Israel hate a couple years back

After watching the start of the confirmation hearing, I believe MarkWayne Mullen and Rand Paul were once married.

How else could 2 people hate each other as much! YES, I do know the backstory!

Today’s Presidents Daily Brief afternoon pod was fantastic

The Israelis are hunting Iranian internal security forces to the point that they no longer go to their facilities. They are waxing them where they find them, they nailed the current head hiding in a tent in the woods. They have been calling them on their cell phones and explaining why they need to quit supporting the regime. Pretty wild.

The other part was hard to smile about. The Russians are helping Iran with targeting data and providing damage assessments of American targets. They are providing tactics info to improve Shahed drone strike success that they learned in the Ukraine war. Maybe Tucker can go ask Putin why Russia is helping target Americans since he likes to go admire Russian grocery stores so much.

Here we go

Keeping food cheap and available is important. Subsidizing farmers is a necessary evil.

That's where the 50 year mortgage will take care of things. 🤣
Yeah what happened to that. No different than handing out money to farmers. I’m all for it! Even though it’s ridiculous

How about housing affordability?
Food
Water
SHELTER

basic needs

Water is cheap.

Housing is a problem, but almost everyone has a place to live. I don't think the government could realistically subsidize housing. Would be better if there was more construction, but the market drives it. Housing is also a local and dynamic market, so it's hard to make a blanket policy that would solve the issue, but relaxing regulations and dropping taxes and tariffs on building materials would probably go a long way.

The current housing crisis is probably temporary, and it has already reversed. The millenials want houses, but the boomers who own houses aren't moving or dying. Covid had a lot to do with the sudden spike in real estate prices. Additionally, there was a huge increase in demand for industrial construction the last few years. It's likely the market demands that increased housing prices have reached their peak and will continue to reverse for the next several years. Personally, I'm staying away from real estate entirely for now.

I don't think millennials and Gen Zers want the same houses Boomers and Gen X want/wanted. Tying up $400K+ in a 3500+ sq.ft. home in suburbia isn't what they're looking for. Builders/developers need to figure that out.

That’s good because I don’t know of any market where that’s even a possibility. 3500 ft.² for $400,000 has gone the way of the dodo bird. Now it’s 1500 ft.² for $400,000 in way out of town, secondary markets.

It's an insane idea. I can't believe they even floated it. If I were a young person now looking to buy a home, I would buy a starter home and begin learning home maintenance and repair and landscaping. Then, when I had a good deal of positive equity in the house, I'd buy a bigger house as my kids got older and repeat the process. Millennials have the double whammy of high costs and low skills. They basically have to pay their way out of everything, but their salaries aren't high enough to cover the costs easily. They are also a relatively large generation, so they're all fighting for pieces of the same pie.

They're also mostly liberal, so they don't really understand economics or self-reliance compared to other generations. This affects their politics and causes them to whine and give up rather than fixing the problems in their lives, and they focus on crap like transgenderism, DEI, and racial identity rather than the economy and foreign policy, so they don't use their voting power to correct the actual problems the country is facing. This doesn't seem to be changing, as it does with most generations, so they are at the mercy of market forces that they are unable to understand or fix.

Luckily only about half of millennials are the helpless crybaby liberal type, so there are a good number of people that age who can take over as the boomers fade out. Interestingly, GenXers and zoomers tend to be conservative, so the liberal millennials don't have a clear voting majority.

Just moved into 2100 square feet for $750k. $400k gets you a really nice garage.
