Conspiracy theorys, where do you stand?

The trade war with China in 2018 increased production by Brazil. It increased carryover stocks in the U.S. We kept having record years of soybean production. The dollar was strong so it became harder to buy U.S. beans. Brazil is now the world’s largest grower and exporter of soybeans.

Some memes from democrats didn’t cause that. Bad policy did.

The bankers and big input suppliers including machinery are who push for the bailouts.
That drives up the cost of inputs too.

Just like easy student loans pushed up the cost of going to college.

US had a potential record bean crop around 53/ac and IL also probably set a record, maybe around 65/ac? Don't quote me.

This actually says 62.5 for IL. So quite a bit below 75.

I thought I was being conservative! No wonder Pioneer gives away the nicest hats lol

My farmer made 20 bu/acre on my place! Flooded all spring so couldn’t get the wheat off. And once he finally did it never hardly rained again. Was seed beans so he had to waste the time harvesting them to get something

20 bushel 2nd crop seed bean premium prbly makes for a decent year, if the wheat amounted to anything.

Yeah, I’m not worried about it. He’s a good guy. I gave him a little leeway. But no lease. I refuse to be bound to anything on my own property!

I believe China was known to agree to buy lots of soybeans during the Biden administration, and then not actually follow through. I don't know if they're trying the same with Trump?

They've back out of many ag deals including major pork deals.
