Sickening. The side that preaches tolerance and forgiveness just thinks they can.killmanyone they disagree with. Truly sickening.

You are correct. My fear is the young folks who haven’t seen all that us old bastards have. My boys are livid.

I hope the old liberal women who’ve been standing on the corners with signs lay off it for a bit. For their own sake.
 
To me this is a grotesque act of terrorism. An attack on democracy and free speech. What else is a man that goes to college campuses and debates people who disagree? That’s free speech.

Let’s find out what happened though. Let’s let law enforcement find out what this is about. Odds are it’s a crazy doing it for notoriety. We just don’t know. I know everyone is fired up but if you think about every major event the initial reporting and the memes and internet news rumor mills were mostly wrong. Let the process work for a few days. Let the quality of what we know improve. It will with time.

Free speech and democracy are about people disagreeing and using civil discourse to settle problems. Not easy problems, the biggest ones. Honor the memory of Charlie Kirk by doing it that way. The way he was practicing democracy before that terrible act of cowardice.

The problem is, they want us all to believe it’s some “whack job off his meds”. I won’t believe it anymore. This was a professional assassination. The powers that be know what he was capable of. This is not “right vs left”. This is GOOD VS EVIL! We’re being lied too on both sides. It’s time to stand for what is right and quit

4.5 years ago....I "lost" most of my "friends" that were / are democrats. (like 6 of 'em) I do not miss them....even a little bit. I simply do not understand how anyone can support this bullshit. If you vote for the kinda crap that Joe Biden, the Democratic Party, and Biden's "administration" brought to the fore....then you and your ilk are no friend of mine. Not even close.

Some of these people have not spoke to me since I told them so. So be it. I cannot understand how anyone can support this crazy chit that this party or administration supported....and continue to promote. The killing blow(s) were the burning of the Minneapolis 3rd precinct, the BLM movement in Mpls, the George Floyd take down and resulting mayhem, the Afghanistan debacle and the need for escort to get from my hotel to the hospital where my wife fought for her life. Could not even have another family member visit due to the phoney covid restrictions, and had to wear masks and distance our selves. The police and security had to guard the hospital from terrorists. Then came the mass numbers of illegal immigrants....and so much more. DragQueens in Schools? Woke asshats and DEI everywhere in the Biden "administration. Sheer Lunacy!

I told many of my Democrat friends....that if this is the America they want....then we are no longer friends. I meant it then and mean it now. If your the 40% or so that voted for Biden.....get away from me. Block me or unfriend me....because I am not like you....and I do not want you around me or my family. To me you are evil. No space for you or your misguided agenda.

Agreed’ish. But remember when weekend at Bernie’s ran he was the “moderate in the basement”. I think many Biden voters just wanted a return to calm. Kinda glad they did. Even though Bernie wasn’t there. It gave the Donald time to think and plan. If he won ( was taken) that election I don’t think it would have been as important. We’re where we should be as far as the presidency goes.

Lots of Biden voters rejected word salad. So I’m not throwing them all under the bus.

Kinda afraid of what this may do. Kirk was loved. Dare I say more than Trump by the youth.

The youth is the future. Hope they get it right.

I'm against it. It's a slippery slope. Bad people will do bad things no matter what. Infringing on the rights of everyone doesn't solve that problem. However, we could do better at punishing individuals when they violate the rights of others.

100%. Hating anyone who doesn't think like you is the left move.
I would like to think any younger people who listen and respect guys like kirk have a good head on their shoulders and will handle this accordingly. I now it's a big blanket to put all of them under but that's my hope
