I don’t doubt it a bit.

Guys, the state government brain trust here in Illinois has been talking about offering four year degrees at community colleges. It’s a stupid idea and they usually get their stupedist ideas from California and the east coast, they aren’t even smart enough to come up with their own stupid ideas.

I read the post and thought maybe they were doing crazy stuff in community colleges other parts of the country.

Thst’s why I asked. I read the post about 4 times before I asked. Since the post is in the Conspiracy Theory thread I thought maybe someone was made a conspiracy theory extra spicy.

I’m going to add this- my life is too busy to know where Jill Biden went to school or covertly support her on a deer habitat site.

Don't go hating on me because of this or think that I'm some Biden supporter (I voted for Trump 3 times now). But, the University of Delaware has done some pretty good deer research (fawn predation was pretty interesting). They are not a community college. They're a land grant research university and the largest university in the state.

Kids are now graduating HS with 2 year Associates degrees already. It's not a stretch to think the next step is a Bachelors degree comes with your HS diploma. Everyone gets a trophy and no one gets a bad grade.

Those high school college credits are dirt cheap. Daughter played softball in the SEC and it also eased her transition into college to not have to take so many classes with practice and lifting every day. Also got her out of having to sit in athletic study hall. (I forget what it’s called.)

My boys have done the duel credit classes my oldest took one semester at the local JC to get his associate's degree after high school then started at the the 4 year school. He now has one more semester for his bachelors to be complete. My middle boy takes the duel credit classes also if they work with his class schedule.

I took my Gen Ed requirements online at a community college while at university because it was MUCH cheaper per credit hour. It was a piece of cake, and I saved a lot of money. It allowed me to take far more interesting and useful classes from university professors.

At OU, the tuition was paid per quarter, and you could take up to 20 credit hours. I was able to take a full load of courses at OU plus 2 or 3 hours of classes online from Sinclair community college and get the most bang for buck from my education.

I've seen some videos about that. Addicts do something similar. It's fascinating how seemingly unintelligent people can be master manipulators in certain circumstances. Very unnerving.

This is it. The game often starts with a lapse as small as a guard allowing an inmate the familiarity of addressing them by their first name. The ultimate goal is to slowly over the course of years build up the trust until the guard does a favor for the inmate that the guard never recovers from. Inmate owns the guard at that point.

I never worked in a jail or a prison and I’m guessing they run them differently these days. But this book made me laser focused on anyone becoming familiar in a way that may lead to manipulation.

And often the most intelligent people are the best target to manipulate.

Steven Hassan is an interesting follow on social media. Heard him on a podcast. He was a highly intelligent student from a loving home that got recruited into the Moonies cult.

The Moonies were a big joke I always thought. The two sons are to be taken seriously. Interesting if you like that kind of stuff.
