Oklahoma has always been a "grow your own state". Everyone always knew it, but one still didn't advertise it, cause you could go to prison for it. I'm not exaggerating when I say you'd be stunned at the amount of people 45-80 yrs old that have smoked for decades in the closet. Now they can grow their own legally, which they were experts at already.
With the grow laws they started with so lax, everyone was growing, and that put a serious dent in weed imports from the south I'm sure. You know it attracted the attention of the people over the borders who lost those previous customers. So, they came here, and opened up many big illegal grows. Pretty easy to do in Oklahoma, as most of it's rural.
Interestingly, you'd think there would be a bunch of mexicans moving in to take care of that, but actually, it's been the Vietmanese/Burmese/whatever east indies that flooded in. Don't know if it's a Chinese thing or not.
Oklahoma now has been busting these illegal grows daily now for a couple of years, and they're starting to get a handle on it.

Yes, it is a chinese thing. (There is no ethic group that is NOT involved in this but the Chinese are big in this.) In mainland china these people get lured to become indebted to chinese organized crime with the promise of good jobs in the U.S. They work out a "deal" where they will get to the U.S. When they get here, they have to pay off the debt that traveling here has incurred. They end up in indoor grows in Oklahomaand SoCal. The bad guys grab whatever travel documents the workers may have and they are locked in a safe. These grows are old cattle and livestock operations (hoop houses in SoCal) and the workers are housed in trailers and whatever building they have. They are not allowed to go outside as this would attract attention. They are growing semi truck loads of weed for export to the east coast population centers. The women are more valuable. A lot of them are forced into prostitution.

When the Mexican cartels buy pre-cursers from China, they do not send money to China. They get the precursurs to make fent which is smuggled into the U.S. It is distributed and sold. The money doesn't all go back to Mexico. It is laundered on the east coast. Chinese buisnessmen who sold the precursers are already wealthy in China but they cant get the money out of the country. They recieve payment here in the U.S. for the precursers they sold to Mexican cartels to launder and then buy real estate and send their kids to U.S. universities. The weed money helps all that work.

The Chinese govt could stop this but they don't. They are not in it for the money. The chaos it causes us is what benefits them. The fent of course. But also they benefit from our young people stoned, not working, not being productive. This is enhanced by the algorythym that TicToc uses. It points young people toward free palestine movement, if it feels good do it and YOLO. TicToc is of course banned in China. The algorythym for WeChat or whatever theirs is encourages study, hard work and productivity.

So there you go. We and our govt continue to allow TicToc to brainwash our young people, we allow the chinese to keep operating at scale, we reclassify weed from Sched 1 drug so DEA will no longer even work large scale weed money laundering cases and to throw out the green flag to big banking that its ok to handle these funds. What's not to like?

China knows they are at war with us. We don't seem to know we are at war.

We are screwed.

That's where the common sense thing comes into play or not. Usually not. Sheeple. never a good idea to believe any one side of a story without hearing the other side and making a decision based on facts. How many have gotten into an argument with someone only to find out you were misled from the start? Women getting guys in bar fights comes to mind. jmho

We were told a creepy old dude with dimensia was running the "most powerful country in the world" for 4 years. Then we elect the "Fiscally Conservative, America First" answer and get handed a pork filled spending increase, continued spending on war in ukraine, attack Iran, support ethnic cleansing in gaza, war mongering in venezuela, and our president defers to Israel when asked about OUR future actions in middle east.. Aint no foreign misinformation campaigns needed for citizens to not trust their government.
