42 million people in this country get SNAP benefits. 1 in 8 Americans don’t pay for their food…..the rest of us do!

The only thing booming in my town is FREE housing for the druggies and the eternally lazy. Pathetic at best. You should see the line of cars that goes for several blocks on the day they all line up for the free handouts. I bet it's 90%

90% of people milking the system. Reservation housing is popping up left and right on the additional 61,000 acres gov. Walz gave to the tribe a few years ago.

Was at Walmart a couple of months ago listening to a lady in the checkout ranting about not being able to use Snap for certain things anymore. Something about Redbull, pop, vapes, etc. I don't remember exactly but I was thinking... I make decent money and don't afford that stuff. Plus it was was crap nutrition. An employee walked over and told her if she isn't using her money to buy it she shouldn't complain about the choices. Shut her up. I'd never been as happy with a Walmart employee as I was at that moment.

I don’t mind paying a little more on my taxes for native Americans at all. They got a very raw deal for a long time.

I saw something on the news yesterday where DoorDash said they are suspending fees for snap customers. I was in disbelief that people using our money to eat use freaking DoorDash and door dash is playing the game by validating them. I don’t even use DoorDash because I don’t like paying for it. We enable people to be losers.

People can order groceries through doordash. I would imagine the type of people doing this are people with disabilities.

Maybe I'm a misunderstanding things, but doesn't the last line of that text say that they use snap funds at a lower rate than US citizens?

Regarding permanent residents, they typically don't qualify for snap funds unless they have been here for several years. Depending upon the Visa, some immigrants can qualify whereas most cannot.
